Rabbit has been named, we call it "Boy" (or I called it boy for loing enought that everyone tends to accepted it). Anyway. Let's talk about "Boy", basically, it eats three kinds of food, It's "rabbit food", Dried grass (timothy), and some snacks (Well, generally speaking, dried fruit, it loves banana best!). I took a video with my PDA phone when I am feeding it dried banana. It's quite fun, check it out!

New member in house

Went to Mon Kok tonight, and guess what, my sister and I bought a new pet home. It's a rabbit. Not named yet, but it's quite cute and fun to play with. It seems to be very curious about what's going on in its new home...

Chinese Fonts on Mac

I think that New Mac users may have a problem with displaying Chinese (標楷體) in Word Documents, the reason is quite simple, In Mac, the font is displayed as another name - "DFKaiShu". In The following link, you can find a new font file that has the same name - 標楷體 as windows.

If you open up Office documents, it will be fixed. Also, if you created a document in Office for Mac with 標楷體. Windows users can also read it.

Searching the web for Mac softwares

Nowadays, My life was "hooked" with Mac (and MMK), well, I have been searching for Mac related software lately, trying to boost my MacBook's productivity. I have now got myself a copy of the MS Office 2008 (cause I need to work on my work stuffs), a collection of Adobe softwares, including Photoshops, Flash, acrobat, Illustrator, dreamweaver, etc.

I am still looking for 3D game for Mac, not because I am particularly into Mac games, but I really would like to see how well the MacBook perform with new Display processor.

Anyway, I still have loads to learn about Mac. I think I will start by learning Adobe Photoshop seriouly, as I think I will be using it to edit photos quite often later.

For those of you who know me, you'll probably know that I just got myself a new MacBook. Well I have always wanted to own a Mac, and now I do. Suddenly everythings seems better with Mac. So, as you can see, I have changed my blog to a more Mac like template. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Birthday

My birthday was on the August 10th. However, celebration started on the 8th.

Gigi arranged a group of my colleagues to have dinner on the 8th August, and as that day was the opening of Olympic games, we decided to have dinner in a restaurant that have live TV broadcast. So we enjoyed the evening.

On 9th August, Gigi, Raymond, Jess, Queenie, Alpha and Jason arranged a dinner in Ruby's Tuesday to celebrate Isabel and my birthday. Isabel found out in facebook that our birthdate was on the 9th and the 10th of August. So we decided to celebrate together.

I got a lot of presents, and I mean "A LOT OF" as you will see later in the photos I post. however, all the presents were ... food stuff, Um..... I wonder why......

江油市拘六拐賣犯救五嬰

　　四川地震大災難過後，揭發集團施安眠藥拐帶嬰兒販賣事件。地震過後已有三十多宗嬰兒被人拐賣事件，其中江油市公安局刑警根據舉報，拘捕六名嬰兒妥罪犯，救出五名嬰兒，嬰兒最小只有十天至兩個月大不等。被捕者承認有身份不明人仕出價一千五百元一個嬰兒，要求罪犯將嬰兒轉運到山東臨沂。江油市一間旅館老闆娘，首先發現警方接報到場後，拘捕了該五名二十至卅五歲的少數民族女子及另外一名男子，為免嬰兒哭泣引起途人注意，他們在途中向嬰兒服食安眠藥。

New flat...

My new flat is about ready, After furnishing, I have bought new lighting, new TV-table, installed curtains and brought a lot of plates, cutlery and decorations to the new flat.

The next step would be to wait for my new TV to be installed on Saturday.

Can't wait till Saturday.

Macau Trip (March)

After going to Singapore, I have actually went to several trips. I went to Macau for two days in the begining of March, Went to China for three days, and went to Macau again with my colleagues at the end of March.

Well, the main purpose for the first Macau trip was to let MMK do the Bungy Jump. (it's crazy gal!! )




Anyway, we went to a number of new casinos like the MGM grand and the Venician. Enjoy the photos:

Singapore Trip

Resently, I went to Singapore for 6 days for an Student Immersion Programme, well, I ain't the student, I am one of the five teachers that take care of the 24 Primary 4-5 kids. Well, most of the fee was paid by The Ministry Of Education (MoE) in Singapore, so I didn't have to pay.

Well let's summarise what I have done these days.

We left Hong Kong on 18th Feb, the flight took about 4 hours, and we were greeted by the Deputy Headmaster of our partner school - Seng Kang Primary School (SKPS). We went straight to our lodging place in Downtown East, and we called it a day after the seafood dinner at East Coast.

Day 2 and Day 3 we had professional exchanges with colleagues from SKPS where our students had lessons in their school. We had a City tour around Singapore's Famous Merlion and the city center in the afternoon of Day 3.

Day 4 and 5 are sight seeing day, We went to Little Indian and Kampong Glam, where the Indian and Malay people gathers in Singapore. We also went to Chinatown, I bought some Roasted Pork Jerky. Lastly but not least, we took half a day to tour around Singapore Zoo, It was an eye opener for our kids.

As for souvenir, Most of the stuff I bought are food. It's because Singapore's food were quite delicious. And I have always wanted to buy Bah Kut Tah (肉骨茶).

Bought "Call Of Duty 4"

經多個月的缺貨，今天終於在旺角買到了 Call of Duty 4。原本此作是一出必買的大作，但因它因和真三國無双5一起推出，當我買了真三5之後它便一直缺貨了。

玩了一會，感覺跟 Rainbow Six Vegas (RSV)很不同的地方是他很多時也讓玩家作第一身的體驗，即使是過場畫面也一樣。

同時，當中的鎗戰場面亦比 RSV 緊張得多，畢竟戰場是野外的多，再不是辦公室、賭場等等了。

Bought another game, "Call of Duty 4". I longed for this game for ages, and was gonna buy it when it release last month. However, on the day of its release, I found out that another super hit title "Dynasty Worrier" was also released on the same day. Due to budget constraint, I decided to pick up a copy of "Dynasty Worrior" and buy CoD4 later. I never have imagined the second shipment was a month later.....

Anyway, It's natural to compare CoD4 with another tactical First person Shooter - Rainbow Six Vegas (RSV) I would say this game is much more intense than RSV. Most of the time, the game tries to put the player in 1st person view to experience the game, even in scenes between different levels.

The gunfight scene was awesome! when most of the fight takes place outdoor, the player get to fight more fiercely and can apply more tactic to its attact (or defend)

Overall, I would give this game a 9 out of 10.

Bought "Lost Odyssey"

最近買入了 Lost Odyssey ，是一隻xBox 360 的 RPG Game。用 $299買來真的算是超值了，單計遊戲碟已有四隻DVD，此大作由坂口博信作總監，他是 FINAL FANTASY 之父。另本作亦請到井上雄彥作角色設定，所以很有《浪客行》和《男兒當入樽》的影子。

Bought "Lost Odyssey" for $299 in Mong Kok. It's a RPG game for xBox 360. The game contains 4 DVDs, and was created by two masters in the industry. Hironobu Sakaguchi (Creater of Final Fantasy) was the Executive Producer, and the Characters are designed by Takehiko Inoue (the maker of Slam Dunk)

Super duper busy

Have been super busy lately, a bit glad that I moved nearer to my workplace, saves a bit of time travelling. Bought a new toy for myself, will post the pic here later.

X'mas wish list

It's Christmas once again, busy preparing Christmas presents. Of course I have my own wish list. Let's see...... Most of them are just play things, but a wish list is something you want, right? Been a long time since I built my last server, mini-ITX computer are quite cheap now, wouldn't hurt to get one as a server, running Linux.
